Employment at NArFU: Recognition 
of Foreign Qualifications

In order to be recognized in the Russian Federation, documents on education and (or) qualification issued in a foreign country must be legalized and translated into Russian in accordance with legally established procedure, unless otherwise specified in a relevant international treaty of the Russian Federation.

Northern Arctic Federal University is one of Russia’s leading universities authorized to independently recognize certificates/diplomas on education and (or) qualification as well as research degrees acquired in foreign countries.

Required documents:

  • Passport translated into Russian in accordance with established procedure (translation is not required if the document is executed partially or fully in Russian);
  • Documents confirming education, qualification, special knowledge or training, together with all necessary appendices, duly legalized and translated into Russian (translation is not required if the document is executed partially or fully in Russian);
  • Documents confirming academic degree and (or) title duly legalized and translated into Russian (translation is not required if the document is executed partially or fully in Russian).
