November 29 rector of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University Elena Kudryashova received a letter from the head of the Olympic facility “Complex for cross country skiing and biathlon competitions” Andrej Markov. The letter asked for assistance from the referee Marina Skolota who works as a deputy director of physical education and sports center “Arctica”. Marina Skolota will help to prepare and conduct the XXII Winter Olympic Games.
From 12 to 15 November the capital of the 2014 Olympics held a National Seminar of referees of ski racing, where special lists of referees were approved. These lists include two referees from the Arkhangelsk region (Marina Skolota is one of them). Marina will perform the duties of a chief referee on access control.
Marina Skolota was a participant of the XVII Winter Olympic Games in 1994 in Lillehammer (Norway). She is a master of sports of international class in biathlon and a master of sports of USSR in cross-country skiing.
