Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology Marina Nenasheva told about the program of the round table, as well as about who can enroll in postgraduate studies in the specialty "Social and Political Philosophy".

"The purpose of the round table is to tell about the main scientific specialties implemented by the Department of Philosophy and Sociology, and to form an idea of how postgraduate studies differ from undergraduate or graduate studies. To participate in the round table, we invited the head of our department, Doctor of Philosophy Artem Makulin, who will talk about the subject of social philosophy. Deputy Head Ilya Vereshchagin will tell about the Department of Philosophy and Sociology. But the highlight of the event will be a small master class from the secretary of the Dissertation Council, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Larisa Zhgileva, who will tell you how to work on a dissertation and share some secrets of preparation for defense," - said Marina Viktorovna.

The head of the postgraduate educational program in social and political philosophy is the Rector of NArFU Elena Kudryashova. An applicant with a diploma of higher education can enroll in postgraduate studies in philosophy. Applicants who understand the specifics of the scientific specialty, have experience in research work and publications on the topic of research and are ready to work fruitfully for the next three years are welcome. Future PhD students, majoring in philosophy, will study different disciplines: history and philosophy of science, social and political philosophy, foreign language for scientific purposes, learn to work with scientometric databases, as well as write their PhD thesis and present the results of their research to the scientific community in the form of speeches at conferences and articles in scientific journals. The purpose of postgraduate studies is to train scientific and pedagogical personnel for the higher education system, who in the future can work both at the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of NArFU and at specialized departments of other universities.
