24.09.2021

Together with the inclusive dance group ‘Prostor’ - From Idea to Realization’, the School’s participants joined an inclusive dance workshop by Olga Aksenova and Julia Moreva from Arkhangelsk Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Centre for Children. Students from NArFU, Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University and students with disabilities had a chance to try their hand at the art of dancing and learn about various choreographic techniques.

The event was followed by several workshops organized by the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University, including a musical stage performance “Improvisation”, a “DIY Songwriting” workshop, and a virtual tour inspired by the exhibition of blind artists “The Way to Color”. The students not only got introduced to the works of visually impaired artists, but also contributed to a short video created using sign language.

The inclusion experience gained at the workshops might come in handy during the subsequent student internships. All participants of the School will continue to work on projects whose results will be presented at the final meetings.
