DeConcrete Project has been selected to be part of the Exhibition showcasing Interreg and ENI CBC projects and their impacts, contributions and support to the development of business in the region. Project experts from the University of Oulu and UIT-The Arctic University of Norway will present the project “DeConcrete: Eco-Efficient Arctic Technologies Cooperation” (KO4068) within the European Cooperation Day exhibition “INNOVATION ACROSS BORDERS. Working with your neighbors to make a difference” that will take place at Business Oulu 21-25 September 2020 (exhibition site).
This exhibition is the joint effort of 5 cooperation programmes and local partners in Oulu: Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic, Interreg Baltic Sea Region, Interreg NORD, Kolarctic ENI CBC, Karelia ENI CBC, Regional Council of Oulu, City of Oulu, Business Oulu, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland.
The exhibition will discover how cooperation between actors in Northern Europe and Russia make a difference for the future of this region. Cooperation increases access to new knowledge, enables the transfer of know-how, and fast-tracks the application of innovative solutions.
Interreg programmes fund hundreds of cooperation projects. This year they join forces in Oulu to illustrate how cooperation in innovation is successfully contributing to a vibrant business environment. In total, 15 projects are featured with posters and live presentations.
