Northern Arctic Federal University prepares to host the International Online IT-School
on 12-16 October 2020 within the framework of the 17th International Youth Festival of Information Technologies “IT-Arkhangelsk”.
The rich and intensive programme of the School consists of lectures, workshops and presentation sessions. During the lecture course lead by scientists and experts from Spain, China, Germany and Russia the participants will address the contemporary end-to-end technologies in the innovative IT projects: IoT, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain and others.
Under the supervision of international team of CBC Kolarctic Disruptive IT for Barents Euro-Arctic Regions project students will elaborate and present their own project ideas.
“The approaches to the IT sphere vary from country to country. Therefore the International IT-School will provide its participants with an opportunity to share experience with each other, to broaden their knowledge and determine new vectors for development. NArFU hosts the IT-School for the first time and considering the current circumstances we decided to make it online, but we see advantages in this, because we managed to involve leading foreign and Russian IT experts as keynote speakers for the School, to broaden the number of participants and remove time limits for discussions and work on interesting projects,” said Ilya Mayorov, director of NArFU Higher School of International Technologies and Automated Systems.
The English-taught International Online IT-School will be carried out on the ZOOM platform. The application call is opened for bachelor and master students of foreign and Russian HEIs. The prospective participants should apply through the school registration form until the 13th September 2020.
