3—5 October 2019 Yoshkar-Ola (Republic of Mari El) hosted the international scientific and pedagogical forum "Digital Transformation in Ethnocultural Education: Contemporary Challenges" within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Development of educational modules on law for teachers training".
More than 100 participants from 20 cities of Russia and foreign countries such as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Moldova and Belarus attended this forum. The objectives of the forum were to determine the conceptual approaches of using digital technologies in ethnocultural education and identify the current challenges in the field of digitalization of ethnocultural material.
NArFU delegates prepared presentations and took part in the working meeting of the project consortium to discuss the issues of the developed educational and didactic materials for educational institutions and coordination of activities at the final stage of the project. One of the main issues was the discussion of the procedure for introducing the developed educational modules into the curricula of the universities participating in the project.
The final international conference dedicated to summarizing and discussing the results of the project was held on 9-11 October 2019 in Vilnius (Republic of Lithuania).
For three years the interdisciplinary NArFU team has been participated in the implementation of the international project EduLAw "Development of educational modules on law for pedagogical training as a contribution to the formation of an education system based on the protection of the rights of participants in the educational process in countries with transitional economy".
In close cooperation between lawyers and teachers from 12 partner universities of six countries - Russia, Albania, Lithuania, Belarus, Belgium, Poland - a training course on educational law in three languages was developed. The study of rights in the context of education allowed revealing all key areas of educational legal relations and showing the legal basis for regulation with the help of a comparative approach. Training modules were piloted and approved during international schools and seminars in order to be further implemented in the educational process of the participating universities.
Educational materials and electronic resources developed within the project as well as the experience gained by NARFU teachers at seminars, forums and conferences, will help to introduce a new educational product to improve the quality of teacher training in the framework of supplementary education and elective courses. The course is intended for all those interested in the right to education, educational legislation, policy and decision-making processes in the educational field. The results of training are aimed at developing the ability to apply the knowledge and skills in different situations of the educational environment as well as to make decisions taking into account the rights of participants in educational relations.
