Belomorsky Forum Participants Learn More about Global Education Program and Youth Projects Implementation with the program "Global Education" and experience in the of youth projects

In the Northern (Arctic) Federal University activities of the international session of the III International Student Belomorsky Forum was completed.

One of the central Tuesday's Events was online presentation of the "Global Education" Skolkovo School of Management coordinated this program. The program was launched by the Russian Government in 2013 and involved the training of Russians in one of the world's leading universities in the chosen direction from among Priority field for the Russian economy. Moreover, this program guaranteed employment upon return to Russia in one of the leading Russian companies or government organizations. 

Presentation of the program attracted a wide audience - both NArFU students and international forum participants took part in online-event. The range of ways in which you could get a Master`s degree, PhD, or received residency training, was presented by technical and natural-science specialties, management training programs for the state and the educational system. Skolkovo School of Management representative Natalia Gurgurova not only provided detailed and current information about the program, but also answered some questions from NArFU students and staff. Participation in this program was really important because the study in one of the world`s leading universities and experience in one of the key Russian companies or organizations became the basis for a future career. Also, seminar «Barents Project Lab» was held with the aim to familiarize young people with the best experience in the implementation of youth projects in the Barents Region. 

The coordinators of the most successful projects, mainly international, presented their ideas and their implementation algorithm to participants. It was noteworthy that all present projects created and implemented by young people themselves. Anton Shamshin, producer of international cultural festival "Barents Bird" and Ilya Kuzubov, the organizer of the Northern Art Festival "Taybola" told about the specifics of projects in the field of culture. Tatyana Katyuschenko, vice-president of advertising and public relations made the presentation of the international student association AIESEC. Svetlana Averyanova, author and project manager for the development of rural areas of the Arkhangelsk region "Living Village" shared the experience in the implementation of regional social projects. Irina Utkina, coordinator of the forest areas, presented international projects of the Arkhangelsk youth environmental organization "AETAS". 

At the end of the seminar coordinators Ksenia Neshenko and Elizaveta Rezvaya told about their experience of the Russian-German student project "Media-X". The presentation attracted great interest of the audience. Forum organizers hope that students will be able to apply their knowledge in practice and realize their creative ideas.
