Russian Quota Scholarship Program for international Master’s and PhD students to study at NArFU in 2015-2016 academic year

Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (Arkhangelsk, Russia) is pleased to invite international students seeking admission to Russian universities in 2015 to apply to Russian Quota Scholarship Program.

Training of foreign citizens within the Quota Scholarship Program will be implemented at the expense of allocations from the federal budget of the Russian Federation and will cover tuition fee and part of the living expenses during their studies in Russia.

Northern (Arctic) Federal University has been allocated a significant number of quota students for the last years. Being a rapidly developing Arctic-focused university, member of Russia Leading University Association, NArFU provides international students from 45 countries with high-quality education, academic mobility programs, international projects and internships, advanced research infrastructure and great opportunities for social life activities.

Please fill in the online form in order to inform us that you are willing to apply to Master’s and PhD programs . You can also check the list of NArFU’s English-taught Master’s programs .

Application deadline: June 1st, 2015 (scanned copies via e-mail) and June 15th, 2015 (originals via post).

List of required documents:

1. Filled in application form with an attached color photograph;

2. Copies of documents confirming subsequent educational levels including transcript of records;

3. Medical certificate issued by the official authority of the candidate residence country;

4. Certificate of HIV and AIDS negative test results issued by the official authority of the candidate residence country;

5. Copies of passport pages containing information required for study visa, valid for at least 18 months from the start date of the entry student visa (clearly readable pages containing the setting data for invitation);

6. Copies of birth certificate (if any);

7. Other relevant documents (diplomas; international, national and other academic contest certificates).

For admission to Master and PhD programs:

8. Abstract in Russian or English language;

9. List of publications.

NB! Documents have to be translated into Russian language and notarized. Copies of documents confirming subsequent educational levels including transcript of records have to be legalized.
