Iveta Novakova is working as a researcher at the Department of Building, Energy and Material Technology at The Arctic University of Norway. She is the project manager of DeConcrete for The Arctic University of Norway. She received her B.E. degree, M.S. degree from Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic. Presently she is finishing her Ph.D. studies also at Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic. She participated in several study and research internships at various universities across Europe and has two years of work experience from Innovation center Iceland. Her current research focuses on demolition processes, recycling techniques for concrete debris, RCA as a replacement of NA in concrete. Furthermore, fibre reinforced concrete, basalt fibres as a possible replacement of steel fibres, fire resistanc of concrete, eco-crete with low cement content, rheological properties of fresh cementitious materials, special types of concrete such as HSC, HPC, vibration-free concrete.

Boy-Arne-Buyle

Boy-Arne Buyle is senior lecturer and leader of a concrete and environmental laboratory at the Department of Building, Energy and Material Technology at The Arctic University of Norway. His primary focus is at implementation and interconnection of research activities with building industry, mainly concrete production, the use and quality control. He is an expert in the field of concrete technology and practical issues connected with the handling of fresh, treatment of early age and hardened concrete. Furthermore, he intensively works on new techniques for the education of building industry employee and actively cooperate with Tekna – The Norwegian Society of Graduate Technical and Scientific Professionals.
