Main achievements in scientific-educational and innovation activities.

Basic Results:

  • Methods for assessment of the fields’ development impact on the environment are validated. It permits to evaluate spatial and time scale of the probable impact and zone territory according to the risk degree.
  • Methods for engineering-geocriological monitoring are worked out.
  • The Institute worked out and patented method for collapse prevention under the permafrost conditions. This method makes it possible to exclude expenses for failure effects (mud springs) elimination.
  • Non-aqueous compounds pro-duced for bottom-hole area treatment permit to increase fields’ productivity up to 3 %.
  • Technology of peat briquettes producing is ready for introduction.

For industrial introduction the Institute suggests:

  1. Constructions and technologies providing efficient road construction from the failed coat;
  2. Combined method for laying pipelines under the conditions of Transpolar Tundra;
  3. Method for complex reclamation of oilcut lands;
  4. System of hydraulic fracture modeling.

Establishment of competitive innovation scientific-educational center for performing competitive R&D using modern methods end ecologically safe technologies of field development in the European North of the Russian Federation.

In 2010 the Institute purchased and installed the unique program complex based on the software Rapid-Spotfire-Rock Catalogue and replicator Gohfer. Currently the Institute provides the purchase of the research-educational petrophysical lab complex produced by the company «Core Laboratories» (USA). All that will allow to carry out research and educational activities in the following directions:

  1. Field development prognosis based on the selection of analogues from the Geological Materials Catalogue.
  2. Development of the geological, petrophysical, hydrodynamic models, provision of the adaptive stimulator tuning for the well cluster stimulation.
  3. Performing professional activities in accordance with Russia’s interests in the Arctic zone, provision of the educa-tional process competiveness in the World market of education services, including specialists training. They will obtain full complex of theoretical, experimental and practical skills of hydrocarbon collector research and description, experimental and mathematic simulation, scaling of the results matrix.
